Field Day 2006
Field Day 2006 was on the weekend of June 24th/25th. We were at the East Greenbush Masonic Temple on Columbia Turnpike in East Greenbush. We were operating continuously for the full 24 hours, with operations on 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 meters.

Hamfest 2006
Spring VE 2006
Our Third Annual Hamfest was held on May 13th at the Phillips Road Fire House from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Over one hundred visitors, including members of clubs from New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Jersey, mingled with each other and ARRL Hudson Division Director Frank Fallon (N2FF) and Vice Director Joyce Birmingham (KA2ANF).
Our door prize was a 2 meter radio, which was won by Roy Warner, W2OWC

Our annual spring VE session was held on May 13th, 2006 at the Rensselaer County Search & Rescue Building, located on Neptune Street in East Greenbush, N.Y. All testees left with a license!
Looking for Donations
EGARA is looking for some donations toward the purchase of a tower and radio equipment for our field day program. We were given a Mosley tri band beam and now we need something to get it up in the air. Tom, KC2FCP is investigating a surplus crank up type and will return next month with facts and figures. Early estimates are around $500.00. Anyone who would like to contribute please contact donations@w2egb.org
